I actually went to this on April 9th. I got a tad behind with the whole broken computer situation. Sorry.
Maggie invited us all out to her little town of Nonsan for the annual Strawberry Festival. Her and her co-teacher, Bomi, would be our tour guides for the day. This has happened so long ago that most of it will be far more pictures than an actual narrative, which might be a nice change of pace for you.
They had a cooking competition and the results looked delicious! And a bit weird. Look closely and you can see that the flowers are actually made of rice.
The little boy was too cute to not take a picture of.
I think I look really young here. The denim skirt and leggings probably aren’t helping matters though.
This is what a lot of people do to their dogs in Korea. It makes me giggle, but it also makes me a little sad at the same time.
And this is my Korean child that I met at the train station waiting to come home. While he was already shown on a previous blog, I believe this merits being posted twice.
Awww, poor puppy!!!!
ReplyDeleteDid you eat a lot of strawberries???
Great pictures!
